Also, a little fact why Death Note was canceled:

A little while after it really got popular, a lot of Japanese people were running around with note books claiming to have a Death Note, writing names in it and such.

Then, because nothing was happening when they wrote the names in the note book, they'd actually start killing eachother...

I thought Mello was great but that's mostly because of his Mafia association. But yeah, it would be a hell of a lot better if it was L Vs Light at the very end. Near sucked.

I don't see what more there could have been, Light was the only one with the resolve and intellegence to get as far as he did and even he got caught. There wouldn't really be a good storyline after him.

It wasn't canceled at all. Schools stopped allowing the possession of Death Notes (clearly fake) in school because people were writing other students' names in the book. They didn't kill anyone, but apparently "psychological damage" is worth the banning.

That was a good show until episode 25 where L DIES then it just went to total suck after that episode
