It all depends on their situation. If the mother knows that she will not be able to support the baby and she feels that it is the best thing for the child then she should do it. Of course abortion is a much better alternatives, but you also have to take into consideration age. If the mother is still a teenager and in school then the best thing for her to do would be to get an abortion because of how cruel teenagers can be and because if she still wants to get a good normal education then abortion is the only way.
