Wait what's wrong with supplements?
As far as I know, weightgainers and whey are safe. I'd never take any testosterone crap or anything but theres nothing wrong with taking a protein supplement.
I'd suggest using a weight gainer like Serious Mass. Look it up on google you should find plenty of places that sell it. And take a whey protein shake about ten minutes after each workout. As for gaining muscle, the following workout is perfect for that:
