''i want to get back together'' = i like you
i like you = dont go fucking other girls

i dont see what's illogical tbh...complex yes but perfectly rational if you analyse it with relevance to her emotions at the time. i mean of course she would say she's cool with it, she wouldnt want to sound clingy or needy since she LIKES you and wants you to LIKE her.
