i know i'm new and i am sorry if there's already a thread like this one
please dont give me any shit, only actual advice

right. basically i used to be friends with this guy - person A -and then we fell out big time...we're in the same social circle though so it's hard to avoid him. we havent spoken in the past year although we used to be really close buds. however before we became friends we dated for about a month and then just broke it off, no hard feelings involved.

well recently i became a good friend with one of his best mates - lets call him person B..or at least i thought i did. i think person B likes me a lot since he always speaks to me on AIM and randomly texts me all the time, he even comes down to my college sometimes to see me.

my question is how do i get out of this situation so that i dont seem like a bitch. i dont want to be leading anyone but i dont know what to do since avoiding people is not a solution...neither is talking everything out because even if i confront them they will deny the whole situation.

i noticed there are mainly guys in this forum so it seemed like a suitable place to ask...if u were one of the guys in this situation what would u like me to do? what would be the best way to deal with it?
