Well of course it's something you see everywhere you go, you live in Alabama, where everyone wants to either be a mechanic in the military or be a mechanic in an auto shop. Lots of "hoo-yah!" real macho man, lower-middle class ideological conservative thinking, but no real ambition. You're probably not even old enough to appreciate the real work/education world, let alone make conclusions about it. Lastly, you grew up in a sheltered redneck shitstorm of a state, so I can at least identify that you are not to be held to fault, but rather, the entire society of that area.

No, it's just funny that this guy takes the time to write 5 (or whatever the fuck it is) pages on how fucked up today's youth is when he's wrong himself.

Its not a problem with youth, its just a problem inherent with humanity at large. And his solution is neither original nor effective.
