My Trig teacher also teaches a Statistics course (AP for Seniors) - so he tries to force some Statistics problems on us. His attempts to incorporate college level math with sophomores fails.
Plus we go over some random Algebra 2 crap that we forgot about. It really is busy work. I don't mind Trig so much.
Oh, and the best pneumonic device I EVER heard: SOHCAHTOA.
It's to remember trigonometric values. Say it like an Indian name. So-Kah-Toa.
SOH = Sine - Opposite/Hypotenuse
CAH = Cos - Adjacent/Hypotenuse
TOA = Tangent - Opposite/Adjacent
