Hmmmm, just walk up and say hi! Don't try to appear too confident, let her know that you're shy too, that way she won't feel quite as awkward...
start up a conversation about anything.. like what's happening in class, stuff like that. You might ask her how she's doing, get to be friends. If she shows interest in you, then ask her if she has a bf, or ask her out or something.
I think that's the best I can do...
