But it clearly doesnt work. What I am trying to say is that its as good as saying "My mobile phone can tell if youre lying. So, now, give me your statement. It will be used in the court." The only advantage of this thing is that it will scare the crap out of the subject and force him to tell the truth if he is really guilty. But this is as acurate as flipping a coin.
The guy in the video began to question his own memories and falsely admitted, "I went to her room, and stabbed her." A week before the trial, the real killer was found through DNA evidence.
This equipment was used in Iraq, and 8 suspected insurgents were set free because they passed the test. I cant see why something like this is used to determine if someone is a terrorist/an insurgent. (Pentagon has banned its Military use now.) But the police departments are buying it at a huge price and 1500 have already got it and are using it.
