As for the next game in the series, well - there hasn't been an official announcement yet. Bungie Studios split from Microsoft and is now
supposedly working on a Halo game with no Master Chief or Arbiter. Rather, it has a squad of troops and you have to battle through campaign levels and stuff (as opposed to just being the hero). Also, in September, there's a
Halo: Blue coming out. It's probably just an expansion pack to Halo 3 with all the DLC but there has not been an official announcement.
