And that's a terrible idea. Baldr thinks restricting people from posting in topics is the first step toward ARG's demise. ARG is, intentionally, loose on its restrictions. If you start restricting posting rights, ARG becomes utter trash.
Not to mention there are constant sweeps of new morons joining ARG. You'll never be able to keep them from hijacking a topic. But for the ones that are blocked out, it capsizes a, potentially, good argument. And what is ARG without arguments?
Plus, just think. ARG is a food chain based on the veracity of its member base. If people at the bottom of the food chain are quelled, then we, at the top, have nothing to feed on. |
